Hello,
We noticed your blog and thought we would introduce ourselves. We are Creative Communication and Celebrating Art. We provide students across the U.S. opportunities to participate in writing and art contests then publish a book with the best student entries. We have been hosting our contests for over 20 years and have worked closely with thousands of educators. During this time of confusion and uncertainty, we appreciate all you are doing to give fresh thoughts and ideas to keep our youth busy while being asked to remain at home.
We were wondering if we could partner up with you to spread additional ideas to keep stay-at-home students engaged. We are wanting to do a post across our social media pages with a list of inspiring blogs that parents can reference for ideas during this time, I believe we both have unique audiences that could benefit from us sharing each other’s information and we would love to be featured in one of your posts as a way to inspire today’s students to use their creative talents as an outlet.
There is no cost involved to enter the contest and no fee to be published.
Entering our contest is something they can do at home. Check out http://www.poetrygames.org to see our “Poetry Machine” it is a way to learn about different styles of poetry. They could even browse the different styles as an assignment. This website was created by Creative Communication to showcase and help students write in almost 50 unique styles.
There are many benefits for students who participate in our program.
Students:
Have the opportunity to receive recognition for their work and win prizes
Have the opportunity to share their talent with a national audience
Have a permanent record created of their work
Have a resume item for college applications
Please check out our programs at http://www.poeticpower.com and http://www.celebratingart.com. On our websites you can view our Top Ten Winners and see the art and read the poems of the winners from our contests. You can also read what other teachers, parents and students say about our contest. We try to make the online entry process as simple as possible. We value the teachers and students who participate in our program.
We look forward to hearing back from you and we appreciate all you are doing to engage our youth’s creativity at this time.
