‘The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world’, this could not have been truer than these inspiring women/moms. As Mothers Day is approaching we cannot but not mention the most inspiring stories about moms from across the world, but first just a brief history as to why and how it came into being.
In 1914, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson officially recognized Mother’s Day as a national holiday. One hundred years later, the holiday has become a global celebration to honor the mothers who made sacrifices to raise generations of children and support them through adulthood.
Rachel Hollis: Blogger and mommy to three kids
This 32-year-old mother from Los Angeles decided to flaunt her midriff in a Facebook post that went viral.
I have stretch marks and I wear a bikini. I have a belly thatās permanently flabby from carrying three giant babies and I wear a bikini. My belly button is saggy⦠(which is something I didnāt even know was possible before!!) and I wear a bikini. I wear a bikini because Iām proud of this body and every mark on it. Those marks prove that I was blessed enough to carry my babies and that flabby tummy means I worked hard to lose what weight I could. I wear a bikini because the only man whoās opinion matters knows what I went through to look this way. That same man says heās never seen anything sexier than my body, marks and all. They arenāt scars ladies, theyāre stripes and youāve earned them. Flaunt that body with pride!
Her one picture inspired moms all over the world who felt confident and proud of their mommy body image, which is so unlike the perfect model figure being flaunted across the globe.

I agree these moms are inspiring… not all of them. I had trouble with Kinki Wong whom I feel went for the glamor rather than err on the safe side.
Rachel Hollis is on another level. THAT IS EXACTLY how moms should feel. Be proud. And the only man who matters is the husband.
What an inspiring post most especially to all the moms in the world! I am on my 8th month of pregnancy right now and reading such stories makes me so excited to the next chapter of my
life.

Wow these moms are amazing and shared so much love to the world. I really admire and respect MAHARASHTRAāS āMOTHER OF ORPHANSā despite of her poverty and not so decent past but that do not stop her from contributing and make this world a better place for more than 1000 orphans.
True Kelly….for someone from her past and background to adopt 1000 kids would have been herculean task.
