Friends are like oxygen. ..
You may not acknowledge their presence
but you need them around all the time.
This came straight from my heart. I have always been a little lucky when it came to friends and friendship. I have known and befriended some wonderful people. Of course with time we have changed cities, priorities and moved on, but I believe each of them has enriched my life in someway. What are your views of friends and friendship? I mean if we didn’t have friends, who would we crib to about MILs and Hubby dears and whose going to ever listen to sob stories of maids and who can we laugh with childless care when sharing a crazy joke and if you’re a mom, who would you run to advise for, without being judged.
Mad Ones: Someone who can agree to every impulsive decision you take or can make you do crazy things in life. They bring fun in your life and sometimes it’s important to be a little crazy or life would get so boring :)!
Parenting Types: The ones you can completely pile on, the ones who will host you in their homes and even feed you food. Yes, they exist and they are my favourite types. If you’re reading this, please don’t judge me, I love you guys ;).
Foodie Pals: For every food craving you have, you need friends who can direct you to the correct kind of place and who can accompany you there too. The ones who will not stare at you when you finish a huge serving and even lick your fingers once in a while.
Planners: Ah, I miss these kinds. They will take charge and plan the entire itinerary for you when n a trip, your shopping lists or even remind you to set up a schedule for your kids. I had been blessed with these kinds for the longest time and even when they left they gifted me a things to do planner…lol :)!
Fitness Gurus: Someone who will motivate you, push you and help you achieve your fitness goals. Trust me you need them or else you will get sucked back into your laziness mode. If you’re laid back and hate exercising they will keep you engaged and not let you slip. I have found that it’s always easier to achieve your fitness goals if you’re doing it with a friend.
4 AM Friends : An absolute necessity! You need a shoulder to cry on. Someone to discuss your late night cravings and your deepest secrets with.
