Before 2022 started. I made some resolutions because that’s what I have been doing for multiple years and I am one of those people who manage to literary complete 8 out 10 resolutions.
So I wrote down; to go deeper in my fitness journey, launch a Yoga app, to write a book et cetera.
But 2022 was a year that took me by surprise. I started the year by falling prey to Covid. I had been running away from it for the last two years and successfully so. And then l, when I thought the worst was behind me, I went ahead and fractured my elbow which meant I had to sit on my bum for the next few months.
It really put me down, but only for a little while. This time, my child was my inspiration. He told me to just get off my bum and even if my elbow was broken, I could work out with my legs. This immediately pulled me out my misery right there and then. I had to set a better example for my kids. I got back to action.
Lost two family members to 2022. This scared me because they went too young. Losing a father figure is always tough. I decided to appreciate all the time I have with my parents and never be too busy for them. Only those who have lost, will truly understand this.
After being mentally away for a while, which you may not have even realised, I got back to creating content which gave me so much peace and joy. My team covered up for me while I was in no mental zone to create content. Grateful for my team who always had my back. My work suffered I wasn’t getting work like every year as the world was headed towards recession and there were many new players in the market. My page was not hitting the Instagram algorithm and trust me that really really bothered me. But what 2022 taught me me was that even in bad times, I can pick myself up, my family is my greatest blessing and greatest win. It showed me the difference between people were around you only when you successful versus those for who are truly your friends or cheerleaders.
I was so in the low that I didn’t even realise or appreciate my wins. I completed 10 years of “MaaOfAllBlogs” and celebrated it with elan. I won 4 awards as a wellness and micro blogger in 2021 and was invited by Government of India to create a collaboration reel on Yoga Day. It was a huge honour. I was awarded as creator for change by MG motors, Cooper came into my life..got to travel after being cooped in the house for 2 years.
Life will throw you for big loops. Just erase, sharpen that pencil, and get back to writing✍
2023 bring whatever may , I am ready for you💕🥰!
