How To Make Safe And Natural Colours At Home

With Holi just around the corner, here is a simple video to make your own Gulal at home with just two ingredients.

It’s easy, it’s safe and non toxic. So go ahead and make it.

You just need three ingredients – Cornflour or Arrowroot, food colour and water.

In a bowl add 1/4 the cup water

Now add a few drops of the food colour you like

Add 4-5 tablespoons of cornflour and blend in. Keep adding more cornflour till the paste becomes gooey(see the video for better understanding).

Now spread it on a plate or butter paper and let it to dry for a few hours.

Once dried, it will start crumbling. Put the pieces in a mixer and blend.

And your Holi colour is ready.

It’s simple and absolutely safe to use.
