In my last post, I talked about how Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri Cruise was dictating fashion for kids, but she is not the only one setting trends, these little fashionistas can give anyone a complex with their sense of fashion. Whether their style is casual or chic, their clothes make a statement and set them apart. Which brings us to realise that kid’s fashion is evolving today.
Keeping these trends in mind, Pepe Jeans has launched its first ever children’s wear collection in India. The Autumn Winter 15 Collection that caters to children from 4 to 12 years of age consists of classic casuals such as stylish denim jackets, jeans and cool printed t-shirts and shirts for boys; and cute denim shorts and skirts, bright coloured jeans, playsuits, tops and dresses for girls.
Bright colours, creative themes and all the while wearable and comfortable – that’s the spirit of the new season.
What makes it easier for us parents is also that jeans are always in vogue and denim goes with just about everything. The only task is to team them up with the right tees, shirts and accessories and you’re good to go. I have created a few looks today for your little one to make your tast easier.
The Pepe Jeans AW14 Boys Collection consists of 3 distinct stories.
The Classic Sport look is very university inspired, with bright colours, embroideries, appliqués, and union jack inspired graphics. Colours are a mix of bright and classic tones, rugby greens, burgundies and rich classic navy with gold highlights.
I have styled both my kids elder one 9 years old and the younger one 4 years in this collection and worked on their styling to achieve sporty, comfortable and a casual look.
Pepe Jeans AW15 Kidswear Collection starts at INR 499.
As you can see the fits are just The second one is the Bohemian collection inspired by the great outdoors. There are tons of terrific tartans being used in pint-sized fashion. And thanks to eye-catching graphic details, they look more grunge than granny.
The Indigo collection consists of cool washes on the jersey range come with strong graphic prints. The colour palette comprises of saturations from bleached skies to the darkest indigos; and highlights of brick red and gold. This collection reminds me of the super hero that lives within each child, and how he can write his own tale and shape his super future. A sporty collection with bright tones and soft washes are perfect for your little hero.
Do let us know which is your favourite look. We are always looking for positive, creative feedback :).

I so agree comfort comes first for kids. I love denims for my twins. Although my daughter would rather wear dresses. But then I slip in a denim dress in there lol
