Please don’t kill me for a chocolate dessert post right after talking about fitness yesterday. We can indulge in a little bit of pleasure every now and then, can’t we 🙂 ?

We as a family  share everything except chocolates. Oh! We just love them and everytime we order chocolates we cannot order less or extra. Who wants to get into a fight? We love our chocolate in any form, a chocolate bar, chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream etc. You could sell us a pyramid made of chocolate :). Extending our love for chocolate we are back with a lip smacking recipe from another Chef Vijay of Barbeque Nation. Chocolate is such a sin, yet so difficult to resist!

This one is so simple, check it out and thank me later for sharing this one :).

Recipe: Chocolate Cherry Clafoutis

Chocolate cherry clafoutis

Ingredients

Glazed Cherry 500g

Brown sugar 25g

Eggs 4nos

Caster Sugar 100g

Refined flour 100g

Coco powder 2tbsp

Whipping cream 150ml

Milk 300ml

Brandy 2tsp

Method

Step 1.Lightly grease a 9inch pan and arrange the cherries on the prepared pan, sprinkle brown sugar and set aside.

Step 2. Sieve together refined flour and coco powder set aside.

Step 3.break the eggs and place it in a mixing bowl add sugar and whisk till light and fluffy then at once add the flour mixture add cream, milk and brandy, beat thoroughly and pour the batter over the prepared cherry.

Step 4. Bake it on 160c for 45 mins until slightly risen set in the center. Serve warm with cream.

Go ahead enjoy your day, dig into your bowl and stay happy :)!
