Shape Your Little Dreams with Pepe Jeans London AW ’16

Denim is such a staple fashion statement and for my boys I just don’t have to tax my brains, trying to put across looks. I can team denims with anything and a cool, laid-back look is ready. I used to always think that girls are fussy when it comes to clothes but boys can be tough to handle too. My elder one, Eeshan while not so much into experimental dressing is very particular about his clothing. When he found out that Pepe Jeans London Studio at Bandra linking road can customise his designs on a shirt or  jean of his choice, he was thrilled.
We carried an entire folder of his car sketches to the studio. The first step was to identify what we wanted to print on. Meenal at the customisation desk informed us that they can print only drawings that are done in black and white and our options were ;

Eeshan was a bit disappointed as his drawings were all done with pastel colors but in my phone gallery, we found a car sketched by him which was more defined. We decided to use it with a little bit of touch up. So if you are already making up your mind to head there, do remember black and white sketches with a lot of definition will work the best. They can be enhanced by hand painting later on. For his shirt, Eeshan liked a vintage car and he decided to gift the shirt which would have his drawing to his little brother. He is sometimes sweet like that.

You can see him rapt in attention, supervising and focusing on the entire process.

And while the customisation was on we decided to try some more styles from the Pepe Jeans London AW ’16 range and shoot for fun :).

The offwhite owl print shirt teamed well with deep blue tee and jeans.

Meenal set the laser printing machine and we saw the designs coming to life in just a matter of minutes. Eeshan has exhilarated. You can see him give that smile when ‘things go your way’. Seeing him happy made my day as well.

Some final touchups were done to define the laser print and voila we had a self-designed shirt with his name!!

But our story couldn’t end there as we had another shirt to be unraveled. Can you imagine the joy when Ahaan saw his shirt? Every season I shop for a whole new wardrobe for these boys but never have I seen this connect with the boys. Have a look yourself;

Other things we loved: All these looks were selected by Eeshan. These 10-year-olds have very strong likes and dislikes!!

We loved it…!! Seeing his designs come to life really pepped up my quiet tween and I am sure you can almost feel the happy energy in the pictures.

My kids are turning Pepe loyalists and which kid wouldn’t? The Pepe Jeans London AW ’16 collection which offers styles in vogue and customisations like these, all kids will love to paint their own canvas. I am so excited as Pepe Jeans London – Denim Fashion Week will be marking its debut this month in India.
