Stretch marks

You spent nine long months carrying your baby and now you don’t recognize your body. You’re not alone. stretch marks and loose belly pouch are a mom’s battle for bringing a new life to the world. They appear on the body as our bodies constantly change through the pregnancy.

Puberty and pregnancy are two of the most typical phases in the life of a woman when stretch marks can occur. Our hormones and genetics are majorly responsible for Stretch marks and loose belly pouch occurrence. Can we avoid that? NO.

Few people are genetically blessed to have good skin and many people may not be.

Since stretch marks are commonly seen on the abdomen, arms, back, breasts, buttocks, hips, and thighs, some people feel self-conscious about their visibility. Even though they pose no health risk. Most stretch marks aren’t particularly noticeable and they fade over time.

Eating well and keeping your skin hydrated can help reduce the risk of stretch marks, as can some topical creams. There are a variety of creams that can be used during pregnancy to reduce the risk of stretch marks and there are also a host of creams and lotions that can be applied to stretch marks after the scarring has occurred. Everyone responds differently to the topical treatments, so if one doesn’t work for you then you may need to try a permanent option like Laser and Cosmetic Treatments which help fading the scars.

Loose Belly Skin is another issue. Much of this has to do with how much weight you gained (whether in pregnancy or not), how much your stomach and skin stretched, and what your genetic makeup looks like when it comes to skin elasticity and collagen. Loose Belly Pouch is inevitable. But you can lose your belly fat by eating clean and exercise . Tummy Tuck, Abdominoplasty are the only permanent options available to get rid of that extra loose skin or belly pouch.

Ladies,  the question is how much depressed and stressed we feel about these new changes. After all, bodies are meant for more than just looking ‘perfect’. They are meant to love our children, hold them when they need us, play with them, watch them grow, experience life in so many ways to the fullest. There’s no way we are letting stretch marks or loose skin stop us from enjoying  life everyday. It’s a gift. No matter how it’s packaged.

Just to buck you up, sharing with you the pictures of these celebrity moms who wear their stripes with pride;

Keep your chin up! Acceptance is there. It’s just a matter of changing your perspective. After all, everything changes once you have children!! Let it be for the better.
