Imli Laddu Watermelon Fizz Recipe:
Imli laddu (tamarind balls) is a ‘churan’ or a digestive sold on the streets of India. I absolutely love this and is my comfort food. We also use Aam papad( dried mango) salt in this recipe, well we are not using the dried mango but the salt that is sold with it again on the streets. Yes, this will leave you lip licking!
Ingredients:
4-5 imli laddu (remove seeds)
Salt sold with Aam Papad(dried mango) or black salt
4-5 mint leaves
1 glass lemon+ water
1 glass watermelon juice
1/4 glass soda
1 Mason jar
Method:
Add soda to the ‘imli’ laddus. The laddus(small balls) should dissolve in the soda and the liquid will turn pink. You can strain the liquid once to remove any residue.
Now add the watermelon juice, the lemon water, salt, and stir.
In the end, add ice and garnish with mint leaves. A tangy and healthy drink is ready to tantalize your taste buds.
