Childhood ,the innocent times……..:0)!

Motherhood, has its funny and dull moments. In my day-to-day activity, i tend to forget the funny and interesting parts. So will share and remember! Like when my older one Eeshan one day suddenly in the lift, when he was 4, touched my chest and told me “Mumma you are fat here !”and before i could even react , instantly touched his tummy and said”And, i am here!” . Such an innocent comment and yet was so embarrassing, I thanked my thousand Gods that there was no one else in the lift with us that day! Then there is this one which i just can’t get over. But before I relate the incident let me introduce you to Ahaan, my younger one who is 16 months now, is really a climber. When i say that i literally mean it!he climbs on the dining chair then onto the table, he climbs on the sofa from there onto the bar.His climbing skills keep improving everyday,he has now developed a technique to climb using the kitchen handles as stairs to the kitchen top…..his tendencies to get into trouble are by far beyond my skills to protect him. All in all, he has already beaten me at this tender age. All Hail Ahaan!! So anyway, our little master one day when i was out decided to climb onto the top of my dining table where my Macbook Pro was charging, first he did a tap, you can even say lap(top) dance which has been his favorite for some time on my Macbook(Thank you Apple for giving it a steel body!) and seeing no one around decided to play with it. Happily, he typed in, opening some random windows….but then nature call happened and our dearie uninhibited decided to answer it there and then. Yes,he peed on my laptop…..aaargh! After which he happily strolled off. My maid unaware of the happenings, shut my laptop and put it away from the dining table.
The next day when I opened my laptop and started typing, no letters seem to be appearing that when I removed the plastic cover on the keyboard and found it wet!Oh no,someone has dropped water on it! I, like I do for my mobile and something all of us have tried, wiped the keyboard dry and used my hair dryer to dry any extra which might have seeped in the keys. Crap! Suddenly my keys melted like chocolate and even before i could do damage control, my macbook was destroyed. It’s then that it struck me that it wasn’t water but pee which was on the keyboard. The Apple repair policy? There is none! They replaced my keyboard for a whopping 15K….maybe i will laugh some years later when i think of the incident, but as of now all i can say is that even Ahaan’s pee is worth 15K ;0)!
