My Granny is well!

Throughout my childhood I have slept and stayed in the shadows of my granny,needless to say that I know her idiosyncrasies well.A small poem dedicated to her;

When she fell,she broke few limbs
Her right shoulder gone ,she was grim.
She spoke less now,and ate even less,
her witty charm was missed,
was she just aloof or was waiting for her temper to hit the roof?

All came to visit her ,all cared
But she missed her parents the most for all the good times she had  shared.
The people we take for granted, care for us the most.
Is that why we always remember them  when we are lost?

For days she slept night to day and day to night.
We all lost hope ,until one day she woke up bright!
She asked for tea after months,
“Where is my pension money ?”she  said,
“How is Mulayam Singh?Hope he is dead!”
Now, I know for sure that was no medicine spell,
needless to say My Granny is well!
