Tips To Avoid Hair Loss In Women

Tips to Avoid Hair Loss in Women

I have been blessed with good hair all my life but recently have been experiencing a lot of hair fall because of which the hair has thinned down. After trying various remedies, I was left with no choice but to get under the scissors and trim them hoping they grow back healthier. It was a bit upsetting as I was trying to grow my hair long. The hair loss can also be alarming. All this led me to dwell a bit deeper as usual to find some answers.

Hair loss could stem from several causes like hormonal imbalances, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, thyroid problems, stress, and even hair styling processes.

Let’s discuss  some natural homemade remedies to prevent hair loss, since we always believe in natural ;

Safflower oil

You probably didn’t know this but the solution to your thinning hair could be sitting right in your kitchen. Safflower oil used for cooking is also considered highly nourishing to the hair. It is a rich source of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids, both promote healthy hair.

Follow this: Massage the oil into your scalp and let it stay overnight. Rinse off with a mild shampoo in the morning. To get the best results, use it alternate days.

Potato juice

While fruits and vegetables nourish your body from within, using them topically can also yield great results. Potatoes are one of the best ingredients to include in your natural hair care regime. They are enriched with Vitamin C, B6, manganese, copper, niacin, all of which can help prevent female hair loss.

Follow this: Cut potatoes into pieces or simply crush them to extract the juice. Apply the juice to your scalp and keep on for 30 minutes without letting it dry. Rinse off with water.

Shana seeds

Shana seeds are regarded as one of the best ways to combat hair loss in Ayurveda. Their properties nourish the scalp and rejuvenate it by promoting hair growth. The seeds can be ground and combined with coconut oil to enhance the benefits.

Follow this: Mix two tablespoons of shana seed powder with a tablespoon of coconut oil. Gently apply the mixture to your scalp, covering your hair as well. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse away with a gentle shampoo.

Hibiscus flowers

This remedy too comes straight from the Ayurveda books and is considered as a natural hair loss treatment for women. It works wonders for your hair in the most natural way treating everything from dandruff, slip ends, to hair fall. When used with coconut oil, the mixture truly rejuvenates your hair.

Follow this: Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 10-12 hibiscus flowers. Heat the flowers in the oil, and strain the mixture. The extracted oil can then be applied to the scalp. Leave it overnight for best results and rinse off the next morning.

In addition to these tips, also ensure you follow a healthy lifestyle including a balanced diet with essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, biotin, and iron. Additionally, avoid stress as this could be one of the major causes of hair loss. Stay away from harsh chemical and heat treatments as these could damage your hair, making it dull and limp. Use natural remedies like the ones mentioned above which will definitely help you prevent hair loss and restore your hair’s natural beauty.
