They say Men are from Mars while Women are from Venus. So true, our likes, dislikes and tastes are so far apart that it will probably take generations to list down the differences.
Valentines Day is the most popular festival when you’re in your teens. As you grow and get married the charm of this fades away. I have heard so many couples say that they don’t believe in the day. ‘You don’t need a day to celebrate it!’.
But then the romantics live on too, who still miss the flurry in their hearts on their first dates, the excitement of proposing and the joy of spending countless hours together.
We decided to ask a few married couples around on what their perfect Valentines day gift will be. These are some of our findings. While most men wanted materialistic items women were all about a date, roses and quality time. Looks like women have been getting all the expensive gifts over the years because actually men wanted them or because we women gave up on waiting for that romantic note and decided to play it their way and at least, get the materialistic one in their bag. On the other hand, women kept racking their brains to get out of the box romantic ideas to impress their partners, while it was as simple as just getting them a cool watch or a gadget. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule and a lot of men love romantic dates and women love expensive gifts too.
