Learn to #TrustYourWay

Parenting cannot be aced by reading parenting books or by watching videos. In fact, every time you think you have perfected the art of parenting, you will be surprised at the new challenges that can spring up.

As a new parent, you may not know this. I remember when I had my first child, as a new mom I had promised myself – that I will raise a perfect kid. I did not even let him taste sugar for the first two years and he thought cold milk was a soft drink. Until one day, he grew up and ate a slice of birthday cake. There has been no looking back ever since. Now, I struggle to strike a balance between my kid’s food habits and nutrition.

You too, like me, will go through the cycle and learn the ropes of parenting as your kid grows up. Parenting will come to you only when you become one. And, along with parenting comes much anxiety. There’s so much pressure to do things in a certain way for your childBaby Dove believes there is no right or wrong way of parenting and also that there are no ‘perfect mothers.’

So, just the way Baby Dove asks mothers to trust your own self, I too believe that you should go with your instincts always.

Just to make you feel you are not the alone in this journey, we asked a few moms what they did to ensure that their baby gets the best possible care. It wasn’t a surprise when I found out that each mom has her ‘own way’, this further strengthens my belief – that there is no one set way that suits all.

We had recently done a giveaway for #MOABMoms and these moms answers were selected from the many who entered the giveaway. You too can participate in our upcoming giveaways and win with us.

Have you ever #trustyourway while taking a decision for your child? How has the learning been? We and #BabyDove would love to hear from you. To know more about Baby Dove, click here.
