As a mom and as a woman I multi-task all the time. While getting my kids ready for school, I am planning of how much I need to run after they leave. In Love With The Camera
A blogger has to click and edit pictures all the time, so a good camera with good features can win my heart anytime. The videos are outstanding quality and I can make them in Sepia, black and white, use effect like snowflakes etc, which I have found a feature usually available only for taking pictures and not videos
The camera has so many features – Beautification, miniature, all smiles, low light, night-light, depth of field, Animation smart remove, slow motion, time-lapse and time rewind.
My favourites are Low light, Time rewind, Smiles feature and smart remove.
Low lighting is a challenge I face most of the times, as mostly all blogger meets are indoors, but Asus low light feature improves the picture quality amazingly. Let me show you this picture which I clicked in low light conditions from my DSLR and you will see that the picture needs more light but what Asus has captured is so bright, both were used in auto mode. Time rewind helps me go back in time, let me show you how. I think it can be a great tool for detectives. But in my case, it can help capture the perfect moment.
The smile feature is super cool, you can be making faces or smiling or maybe sometimes take your time to get the right pose. It takes around 5 pictures and gives you 5 options to choose from and get your best smile. I have played around a bit here.
Smart remove helps me remove unwanted photo bombing and unnecessary objects when I am shooting a landscape, it’s great for keeping the focus of the picture and a great tool.
Tru2Life is able to detect different lighting conditions and automatically adjusts the display to make it easy to view even when outdoors in bright sunlight. I took these at the Crawford market and I am loving the quality of pictures, the resolution and the colours.
Music Love
I love listening to music, it helps me think clearly and sometimes i just love to dance with my kids to music. Easy on my Eyes
Reading on a tablet can cause eye fatigue but you can pull down menu, click on the Bluelight filter icon, which reduces the intensity by 30% and is soothing for the eye.
This is a one-in-all kind of device. I can send and receive calls, surf the net, listen to music. It is a tablet which also gears up as my phone, my laptop,speakers. At 350 gms, it’s a perfect accessory to carry in my bag.
Finally the best feature, it’s pricing, all the above at a really value for money kind of proposition at INR 17,999 with audio cover and INR 14,999 without audio cover. So yes, it’s very pocket friendly.
All-in-One Travel companion
It’s not secret that I love travelling and with amount of travel I intend to do in the 2016, I need to be packed light. With all the above awesome features, Asus Zenpad 8 makes for my perfect travel companion as it is camera-mobile-music system-tablet all rolled in one. The best thing that it is so light i.e. 350 gms and can fit easily into any bag. So now I can be in a cafe, in a flight and still keep blogging and no need to carry my 2kgs laptop around :).
What could be better:
The memory is 16GB, which is comparable to tablets available in the market but too less, if I want to use it extensively to store my pics, my data etc. For a blogger that’s imperative.
