Visiting Hyderabad? You Might Want To Check These Luxury Hotels Out!

The intoxicating aroma of Iranian tea, Mughal Biriyani and Haleem in every alley. The shopping at the streets of Charminar, sightseeing from the Chowmalla palace to the Golconda fort to the visiting the famous pearl market all are but the soul of the city of Hyderabad. If this doesn’t get you enticed enough to book your flight ticket to Hyderabad, let us give you five more reasons ie five amazing hotels where you can stay on your visit.

Based on ratings and reviews by my friends who have visited Hyderabad, recently here is a list of Top Five 5-star hotels in Hyderabad.

Taj Falaknuma

I love this property so much that I have travelled to Hyderabad to stay at this property more than twice. Situated on a hillock 200 feet high, away from the city, this heritage Palace houses 60 beautifully refurbished and lovingly restored rooms which are actually converted kitchen rooms and storerooms. The ‘ittar’ and rose petal welcome and the ride from the Palace gates to the property in a horse carriage all transport you back in time and make you feel like royalty.

Every evening there is a soul-stirring qawwali performance at the dome from where you can view the entire city just how the Nizam would have sipping your glass of wine. The Taj spa is exotic and the grounds beautiful. It’s one of the most well preserved and beautiful heritage properties.

The ambience and environment here have a beautiful retro feel. The Mariott faces Hussain Sagar(the local water body) which has a huge Buddha statue and is well light with colourful lights as it is a tourist attraction. Easy access from major parts of the city. The room stays are very comfortable. The restaurants have a huge variety of cuisines and are very elaborate on taste buds.

They have quite the amenities too – the disco is pretty good, the spa was amazing both service & cleanliness wise but burns a hole too! They had a pretty well to do swimming pool as well which we didn’t utilise as I didn’t carry swimwear but a lot of family and patrons were using the pool well throughout the day. Overall I had a very comfortable two-day stay and would love to go back.

Taj Krishna

Located in the middle of the city works great for people who have come to Hyderabad as tourists. It has elegance, grace and class. Being one of the oldest five-star hotels in Hyderabad it has managed to maintain its superior quality and service. There is

nothing flashy about it – design is classic – huge lobby, multiple restaurants with variety of cuisines

As a mom, the one thing I remember is that I slept well and it had very comfy beds. I didn’t take the kids and it was a great break for me.

While we couldn’t find anyone who had been to the below hotels, we cannot exclude these properties from the list.

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Hyderabad Banjara Hills

Apart from the regular amenities that most Five star hotels in Hyderabad offer, Radisson Blu Plaza is famous for its well-planned location. It is quite near to the famous GVK Mall. The Turkish bath out here is a luxury feature apart from the wonderful spa. You can avail babysitting facility here at some extra surcharge. Extra beds and cribs for kids are available at some extra cost, as well.

I would like to throw some light on their elaborate spa. Serena Spa has four, different treatment rooms, including couple rooms. The spa is equipped with a mud bath, a sauna, a spa tub, a steam room and Turkish bath/hammam.

Vivanta by Taj Begumpet

The hotel has 181 rooms with all basic facilities along with many thoughtful touches like bathrobes, mini refrigerators, coffee makers, 24-hour room service etc.
