A DIY Fruit Bouquet (quick ,simple and healthy recipe)!!

Whether it’s a party or a celebration, the kids nowadays want pizzas, cakes, burgers, soft drinks and all kinds of non-nutritional foods. We as mothers, always wreck our heads to introduce healthy diet to them. What if we present fruits in a way that totally appeals to them?Fruits as we

all know are rich in vitamins and nutrition. Also, while doing this bouquet, you should involve your kids too,so that they are excited with the concept. This would make a perfect Valentine gift for your little ones friends too.

Infact, you can break tradition and instead of flowers gift these to your valentine.
This is very easy to assemble and looks beautiful and unique for gifting.

Let’s see how we do it ;
You will need:
Fruits:
A watermelon
A pineapple
Kiwi
grapes
dates
apples
strawberries
Shape cutters
Satay sticks
toothpicks
p.s.you can add as many fruits as you like. Can even add chocolates.
Method:
Cut the watermelon into half and then chop the bottom to make it flat. This will act like a base for your bouquet. You can put the water melon on a plastic plate or mat.
To cut different shapes, you should fist slice the fruit horizontally(parent you should do this) and the ask your little ones to use shape cutters cut cut out different shapes from different fruits.

Now,put some fruits on toothpicks ,these will form the lower layer and the ones you want to highlight, put them on satay sticks. The thick end in the fruit and the pointed end will go into the base.

Assemble the fruits in any way you would like to decorate.Let your kids imagination run wild.

My kiddo designing the bouquet

Add a small banner on a toothpick and put it on the bouquet and it’s ready to go. Remember this has to be made and gifted fresh and should not be kept overnight. The good thing is that it’s a quick assembly, so not too much work.
