Nutella Sukhadi – Healthy Bhi Tasty Bhi

Nutella Sukhadi

Kids always love to have something sweet in their tiffin. Instead of biscuits or cakes or chocolates, why not give them something healthy and tasty treat?
Ingredients :
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup jaggery grated or chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup ghee
2 spoons  milk
A pinch of cardamom powder
2-3 tbsp Nutella
Some choco chips to garnish
Method :
Take a thick bottom pan. 
Heat the ghee in it. 
Add the flour and keep stirring continuously till the flour turns nice golden in colour. 
Now add jaggery and turn off the heat. 
Keep stirring till the jaggery is completely melted. 
Now sprinkle the milk and stir it well. 
Add cardamom powder and mix well. 
Now take it out in a flat dish. Spread half of the mix evenly in the dish. 
Spread a layer of Nutella over it. Spread the other half also.over the Nutella layer. 
Drizzle more Nutella on top and garnish with choco chips. 
Let it set for half an hour and then cut it in the shapes of your choice. This stays as it is for upto 15 days. 
Yummy Chocolatey Nutella Sukhadi is ready to be sent as a side tiffin for your little one. Every piece is a meal in itself for the kids.

As mothers, we would like to provide only healthy food in the tiffin to our kids. But more often than not, the tiffin comes back untouched, breaking our hearts. 

So, as every mother, I have been striving to figure out how to make healthy food interesting and wholesome at the same time. Most of these are traditional recipes, to which i have added a modern twist to suit the kid’s interest.These are few of the gems I have discovered along my journey.
