We have arrived in 2018 and to be very honest, the world has become a little weirder now more than ever. I won’t say the fashion sense was better when I was young, but now, I don’t even understand the point. While some of the fashion trends from 2018 were drool worthy, some fashion trends just go beyond my mental grip. Just to list my current non-favourites;
Denim Knee-High Boots: Weird Fashion Trends
I love the boots. Boots are my style and I can pair them with almost anything at all. I am a big fan of thigh high boot and feel they look very classy in short dresses. But I think denim boots are a big no or maybe these people need fashion tips on how you pair them!! I just can’t decide whether they are wearing a boot or low jeans?

Jeans With Clear Knee Patches: Weird Fashion Trends
I love wearing jeans. Even though a lot of people say that leggings are much more soft and comfortable. And mom jeans are my absolute favourite. But recently, I saw these mom jeans with clear plastic patches on the knees. Well if you needed water protection, wear a raincoat!!
Faux Fur Sandals: Weird Fashion Trends
Don’t get me wrong. I love Faux Fur jackets as they are the softest thing on this planet but when it comes to sandals, I think Faux Fur sandals went way too far then intended. Faux fur sandals, although soft, are very uncomfortable to wear and are not ideal for daily use.

This is one another fashion trend that people are have gone head-over-heels crazy for. Clear plastic pants were all over the internet when they first launched. Soon enough you could see people sporting it everywhere. These clear plastic jeans often tend to create moisture on the inside which does not look very good.
Platform Crocs: Weird Fashion Trends
Crocs are supposed to be medically helpful sandals. They aren’t attractive and definitely not classy. But very soon after the release of platform crocs, models were walking down the ramp wearing these. I wonder if the comfort of these will go out of the window!! I think this fashion trend has seen it’s fair share of criticism from people already.
The Love For Metallic Silver And Glitter: Weird Fashion Trends
I think 2018 has seen the craziest fashion trends of all time. I love the mirror finish silver metallic nail paint or even glitter nail paints. It looks really good and comes off very classy. But lately, people are putting metallic silver effect in everything available. When glitter went to the hair, it just crossed all limits.
