I love to travel a lot and my friends travelling is not just a hobby, it has scientifically been proven to release you from stress. It gives you the peace that you can’t get by just sitting at home or sleeping. When you visit some remote places, your mind automatically gets released from all the tension. However, when you travel a lot you pick up packing skills and that requires the knowledge of travel hacks.

To make your lives a little better and make packing a little easier, we have some traveling hacks that might come in handy;

 Travel Hack 1: Compact Packing

Packing clothes when traveling can take a lot of space. A great way to save up space for other things like your shoes and accessories etc is to roll up your clothes. This is a great way to pack clothes when you are traveling and want to stuff a lot of things in one little suitcase. This provides extra space for other things when you do not want to handle a lot of luggage but want to carry all the necessary things with you. Don’t carry a large handbag, just pack the necessary cash/traveller’s cheques, credit card(s), a debit card so that you can withdraw extra cash from your savings account, an ID proof and you are sorted. I always have a sling travel pouch on me when I travel with these, saves on space and also keeps these safe. You can pack your jewellery and your essentials in similar pouches to save space and keep it more organised.

Travel Hack 2: Avoid Spilling

You can obviously not afford to ruin all your clothes and/or your makeup products especially when you are traveling. But you also have to bring your essentials like body lotion, oil, foundation, etc. The most effective and inexpensive way to make sure that you don’t destroy your belongings in to cover the openings of the products with a plastic foil. This will help you keep your things safe and you don’t have to worry about spilling your precious products or destroying your precious clothes.

Travel Hack 3: Use Straws

Carrying necklaces can be a pain as they always get tangled no matter how far apart from each other you put them. Necklaces are a must with the outfits because they bring out the best look in you. But don’t worry, I have the best travel hack in case you travel with your necklaces. You can tie your necklaces in the straw and that will keep them from tangling with one another. That way you can travel without having to worry about having to untangle them later.

Straws can also be used for storing a small amount of beauty products. You can use seal one end of the straw by using a hair straightener and then pour in your product and then cut it and seal it back again. That way you can make more space to put in other things. You can do this with your moisturiser, body lotion, foundation, concealer, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Travel Hack 4: Buy Small Sizes

When traveling, carrying big bottles of products can be very space consuming. When traveling light or for a short period of time, you can prefer to buy your favourite products in small sizes which are easily available in the market. You can also buy small empty bottles and then transfer the product from the big bottle to the small bottle if the product is not available. This is a great travel hack because then the products will occupy less space in the bag and will leave more space for stuff in some other things.

Travel Hack 5: Packing Cubes

Packing cubes are a lifesaver when you are traveling with a lot of items and you need to utilize even the littlest bit of space in your bag. These packing cubes help you to accommodate many things in one bag. They are very easily available in the market. They are very convenient and are available very easily in the market.

Travel Hack 6: Pack Jewellery in a pill box.

A pillbox is a smart, organised way of storing small studs, rings, and even thin neckpieces. Also, you can organise them day wise.

These are some travel hacks that I definitely abide by and try to follow during my travel experiences. I surely recommend you also adopt these travel hacks when traveling next time!
