Mumma, Stop Stressing! I Am Just A Baby!-A short guide to New Parenting

New-2BParenting

As parents we worry about even if our kids sneeze. I, myself, as a mother start thinking, oh, now he will get a cold, bad throat and eventually run a fever. What if it is a viral infection? That means he will have to miss a few days of school, that would mean a pile up of homework and more stress for the child. What if it is something serious, I will have to take him to a doctor. What will he do? He can’t even get a test done to give the correct diagnosis, till four to five days have passed for the infection to surface. And oh God! I will have to feed him so many medicines.

We worry endlessly! And we have programmed ourselves to imagine the entire chain of reaction, even before an event actually occurs.

New parenting is the stage where parents stress even if the child is sleeping, pooping, feeding. They receive innumerable advice from parents, friends, doctors, and every person thinks he or she is  an expert on raising kids. This leaves them more and more confused.
When your kid becomes a toddler, and he or she  is more independent and you think you can relax a bit . Then start the temper tantrums, the terrible twos, kids not eating food that they used to like, all but leave the parents baffled.

We have read all about what to expect before we become parents, but what some of us fail to imagine is what will happen after you become one. Though there is no end to such queries, let’s handle a few important ones here.
One very important aspect in case of  infants is, not to miss their vaccinations. Attatching a vaccination chart  for your reference so that keeping track becomes easier for you.

As I always say that there is no guidebook to parenting. There is no right or wrong. It is something you learn on the job and for every parent and kid, the algorithm is different. So don’t pass judgement on yourself or other parents. As you will realise that parenting is the easiest thing to have an opinion on but the hardest thing to do.
