Love Without Compromise- The Moms Co. Baby Care Range Review

The Moms Co. Baby Care Range Review

I am very particular about what skin products to use for my kids as they have sensitive skin. Both of my kids have a lot of dryness and that’s why it becomes essential for me to be careful about trying products. I had been on a lookout for something natural, safe, mild yet moisturising for them for a while now. When The Moms Co. approached me for a review their baby care range struck a chord with me with their fetish for high standards in formulating their skin products for moms. What I liked the most was the extensive list of ingredients, perceived as toxic, that are excluded from the recipe also the fact that they come clean on the extensive list of ingredients that are used as well. Here is the range of The Moms Co. Baby Care skin products that I will be reviewing in this post.

I have to mention that the story of their founder Malika, who started this brand because she couldn’t find anything reliable in the market connected me to the brand. I have tried to review the range with as much honesty and depth as possible, hope you can find answers to your questions here;

The Moms Co. Baby Care Review: The Moms Co. Natural Baby Shampoo

Packaging:

It comes in a standard rectangular paper carton packaging. The shampoo comes in a tubular white bottle with a pump top lid. The lid gets locked when turned in an anti-clockwise direction which prevents spilling.

Experience:

I got these products in July mid and have been using it for my younger kid, who is 7-years-old for over a month now. While the bottle reads for babies, I like using mild products for my kids and this one is organic. Unlike other shampoos, we found this one thin. When mixed with water it forms a mild lather and there is a pleasant mild fruity fragrance. We did a PH scale test on it and it was PH between PH 5.5-6 which is safe for babies and kids.

Price: It is priced at INR 393 (200 ml).

The Moms Co. Baby Care Review: The Moms Co. Natural Baby Lotion

Packaging:

It comes in a standard rectangular paper carton packaging. The Body Lotion comes in a tubular white bottle with a pump top lid. The lid gets locked when turned in an anti-clockwise direction which prevents spilling.

Experience:

The Moms Co. natural Baby Lotion is white in colour with a slight brownish tinge and has a slightly thick consistency. The brownish tinge and its fragrance remind you of the cocoa butter that is present in it. It takes a little bit of time to get absorbed into the skin but is non-sticky. It has been working very well for my kids and in keeping their skin moisturised for long durations. We tested it on the PH scale and it did not change colour, which means it is safe for babies and kids. Please read what is the suitable PH for baby skin and why.

Price: It is priced at INR 393 (200 ml).

The Moms Co. Baby Care Review: The Moms Co. Natural Baby Wash

Packaging:

Is the same as the shampoo and the body wash. It comes in a standard rectangular paper carton packaging. The shampoo comes in a tubular white bottle with a pump top lid. The lid gets locked when turned in an anti-clockwise direction which prevents spilling.

Price: It is priced at INR 393 (200 ml).

Experience:

You can use it directly without water or with water. I found the consistency to be thinner than other body washes available in the market. The ideal would be to use a loofah while bathing the kid. It has a very mild citrus smell and lathers well. When tested on the PH scale it was almost 6, which again falls within the safe range for babies and kids.

Overall, I feel that The Moms Co. Babycare range has put their heart and deep research into creating the line of baby products. These products are wonderful and ideal for addressing a baby’s and a kid’s skin care needs.

You might see a list of chemicals compounds at the back of the bottles. I got confused initially too, but all these ingredients are listed on The Moms Co. website and are natural derivatives. Check them here.
