Nurture the Woman and let her bloom-Three women and their Journey!!

I firmly believe, “A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her”.Women Empowerment is something very close to my heart. Being a woman, I realise that even now in so many stratas of society women still get a second hand treatment.Today on the eve of International Women’s day ,we want to share the story of three such women who inspire.WomanWhoDared and achieved,real women,just like you and me.They went out of their comfort zones and achieved success in their own fields.

The three women,we applaud today are ,MasterChef Shipra Khanna,Founder of FMC club -Ruchita Dar Shah and

Masterchef Shipra Khanna:Winner of Masterchef season II.

Masterchef-Shipra-Khanna-Maa-Of-All-Blog-Speaks-Out-Aloud

Why her?
While she looks extremely glamorous and recently is on a professional high,her journey has been extremely difficult.Very few people know that Shipra is a victim of domestic abuse and it took huge strength in her to walk out of her marriage with two kids and build her own life.Today she has moved on ,and her happy-go-lucky demeanour will fool you completely. Howwever,Shipra, does not want to talk about her personal life but her story can be a leading example for most Indian Women.Respecting her wishes,we will not probe any further.
Shipra is a strong believer in women empowerment and in her own words;
 Women Empowerment Is referred to as “Aadi Shakti ” in the Vedas and Puranas . It is Strengthening, promising, inspiring and I totally believe in and stand for it !

Her message to all the women on Women’s day

    Life isn’t a piece of cake but one should try and make it worth living to feel happy and content.  Just feel the strength within let it grow and don’t ignore, be strong stand for yourself, take charge of your life.

Be proud of being yourself because  you are a woman!
So True Shipra,and we honour you for your struggle and for your achievements.

Ruchita Dar ShahThe first lady and founder of the First Mom’s Club

What is First Mom’s Club?
It is a huge online community of  mothers of over 25000 ,all over the world, where they share their woes and griefs .Here you get the most unprecedented of advise and the most traditional ones too . Ruchita with this community wants to focus on the ‘woman’ behind the mother more, than on the ‘child.
Why  her?
She imbibes all the values of the  modern Indian woman.Fearlessly independent ,a free thinker,yet attached to her family and kids.The idea of this community germinated initially because Ruchita wanted to keep in touch with her girlfriends from different cities.She being the first one to become a mom amongst all her friends ,they used to seek advise from her.When Ruchita had her second child she realised ,that he had benign hypotonia which causes late motor skill abilities in children .She had never heard of something like this till then.This made her think that so many women ,like her ,might be unaware or confused about these conditions in their kids.This gave more fuel to her ambition  to take her community to more and more moms.Today the community outreach and connections are so amazing,that a mom in New Jersey can be seeking advise from a mom sitting in Nagpur.
Her message to all the women on Women’s day
In a short and sweet note;
I really admire Oprah and one of her quotes that I totally love and believe is that ‘You become what you believe’.So just believe in yourself,do more,learn more ,surround yourself with positive people.

Krushnaa Patil-Indian Mountaineer

Why her?
Krushnaa Patil is an Indian mountaineer and the receiver of Rajiv Gandhi Young achiever’s award. In 2009 the 19 year old  became the youngest Indian woman (after Dickey Dolma)  to successfully ascent Mount Everest, earth’s highest mountain. She is also the first civilian woman from Maharashtra to scale the peak.
All through her growing years Krushna wanted to study dance and become a choreographer. It was only in 2005,when she enrolled in the Nehru mountaineering institute and in 2007 she climbed her fist ever peak .She was the youngest woman in India to do so.This was a personal victory and also hooked her to climbing.After this her parents and her instructor supported her decision all the way through to summit Everest.While climbing and mountaineering came naturally to her,she faced had to got through the grill trying to arrange finances,which came to a whopping 30 lakhs for her expedition.She left no stone unturned for this.From approaching filmstars to corporate giants to politicians,she did it all.However,finally her parents had to take a personal loan from a bank and fund the trip.When she summited ,the bank in a generous gesture waived the entire loan for her.As they say when you really work hard for your goals,the entire universe conspires to support you.She for me is the face of the Indian youth who are ambitious achievers and know how to pave their way through.
Her message :

Her appeal is to the mothers.Mothers have the biggest role to play today.Instead of cajoling the girl not to wear short clothes, teach the son that girls who wear short clothes are not easy.As for the society, Stop using ‘safety’ as a means to harass women.Women should go out after seven,acquire the public space for themselves.Please do not follow any guidelines .You’re ruining the tradition and culture for the  next few decades.Respect women!

I hope this inspires women and families realise if they empower their daughters,sisters ,wives and even moms ,there is no stopping them.Three women,three different fields,three different journeys but all believe and are the #WomenEmpowered.
