Thai Food Fest At JW Marriott Sahar

I believe myself to be a food lover and explorer. Now you know why it is so difficult for me to lose weight and how hard I have to work to keep fit. I have been in love with food from ever since I remember and the love only keeps getting deeper and deeper. The bliss that a good waffle can bring to my face is incomparable :). But I am not a Glutton, let me keep reminding you that!

When Blogadda invited me to JW Marriot Sahar's Thai Street Food Festival, well you guessed it right. The Explorer in me couldn't resist it. The festival is on for 10 days and aims to spread the Thai flavours amongst Indians straight from the streets of Thailand.

The have an extensive menu of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian dishes prepared by the Thai specialty Chef – Rungtiwa.

Decor and Location : The location of the newly opened JW Marriott Sahar could not have been better with it's proximity to the International Airport. The lobby of the hotel is aesthetically designed and some walls are covered with strings of bells strewn together.
As you enter the place on your left you have the cake shop, beautiful cake display from which you can order or get one artistically done to your choice and taste. The buffet was spread all across the restaurant ranging from Thai Food to Indian to continental and lipsmacking desserts. Servers were efficiently catering to our personal requests and customising food for us.

Food:From Thai Tom Yum Soup and clear soup with my choice of vegetables and seafood to Thai fruits like dragon fruit and Thai lychee to Kha-suey and even did some veg sushi’s for my friends . I liked their Kha- Suey the most and also tried Tom Yum Soup with Mussels for the first time and it was spicy, hot and just perfect. I also tried their orange and mint Mojito which was a little too sweet but then they improved it for me on request. Now that's what a five star service is. The lay was huge. And the whole atmosphere was festive with men dressed in Floral shirts on different counters serving food.
The desserts were good and superbly presented but I went for the waffles, which just made my day. I can't thank Blogadda enough for satisfying all my food cravings.
