It’s Sunday morning and your kids are looking forward to something special but you’re looking forward to relaxing finally after a hectic week.What can be a perfect marriage of two?Most of the stuff I make,is quick and easy.I tried this another,super simple recipe for pancakes and,it worked out much better than the readymade pancake mixes you get in the market.Honestly,if it was complex I would still go for the readymade stuff.So here it is;
STEP 1:You will need the following-
1 egg,
1+1/4 cup flour
2-3 tbsp powdered sugar(I have used organic sugar)
1/2 tsp salt,2 tbsp butter
1cup milk
3-4 drops Vanilla essence
3 tsp baking powder
STEP 2:Seperately seive flour,baking powder and sugar.
STEP 3:Break an egg in it and add melted butter and milk to the mixture and fold.Should have no lumps.
STEP 4:In a pan melt some butter,now with a ladle pour the batter and spread in a circle ,like you do for an omelette.Cook on both sides.
Serve hot with Maple syrup and buttered eggs,or chocolate sauce (whatever you like).
Vegetarian Variation:I also use Nestle Milkmaid instead of sugar and egg for a vegetarian version.Works out pretty well.
